Why Ames?
As a 4th generation Ames girl, I watched Ames change and grow over the years. I’ve traveled the country enough to really appreciate what a great place Ames is to live and raise a family. Ames has the best of small town living coupled with many advantages of living in a larger community.
My past seat on the executive board and continued involvement in committees for the Young Professionals of Ames and membership in the Ames Jaycees have helped me to stay involved in the community, and continue to learn more about this great city we call home.
Family
My husband Larry and I have two young children, Forest and Harmony. Becoming parents has underscored what a great place Ames is for family life.
My parents still live in Ames, along with my sister and brother. Our family business, Ames Laundry, was closed after 97 years in business and the space is now the parking lot for Youth and Shelter Services.

If it’s your first-time, we’ll guide you through step-by-step and explain all the details so you feel comfortable with your decisions.
If you’re relocating to Ames, we’ll not only help you find a house, but help you get acclimated to your new town. Upon arriving I’ll give you a tour of Ames customized to your needs. We’ll follow through after closing to make sure you’ve found a doctor, vet, mechanic, etc. We’ll also help you find ways to fit in to the community. I make myself available to my clients day and night.
